Service Description

A compassionate, confidential space to explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply and move forward at your own pace. Life can leave us carrying more than we realise. Trauma, difficult family dynamics and grief can affect how we think, feel, communicate and connect with others. Therapeutic counselling provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore what you’re experiencing, develop greater self-awareness and find ways of navigating life that feel more manageable and authentic. TRAUMA Trauma can influence how we experience ourselves, our relationships and the world around us. Together, you can gently explore your experiences, develop a greater sense of safety and build self-trust, resilience and practical coping strategies. FAMILY Relationships can be complex, particularly within families. Counselling can provide space to explore family dynamics, recurring patterns and communication, while supporting you to develop healthier boundaries and more constructive ways of relating. GRIEF Grief is deeply personal, and there is no single way to experience it. Counselling offers a safe space to acknowledge your loss, express and understand your emotions, and explore how you can carry what matters to you while gradually finding your way forward. HOW THIS WORK CAN SUPPORT YOU: BUILD RESILIENCE Develop self-awareness, inner resources and practical coping strategies to help you navigate life's challenges. PSYCHOEDUCATION Gain a better understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, giving you greater insight and supporting more informed choices. FEEL EMPOWERED Reconnect with your values, voice and strengths, and explore what an authentic and meaningful life looks like for you. A SPACE FOR YOU You don't have to have all the answers before you begin. Whether you're struggling with something that happened in the past, navigating complicated relationships or finding your way through loss, counselling can give you dedicated time and space to explore what you're experiencing — without judgement and at a pace that feels right for you. Confidential • Compassionate • Non-judgemental

Cancellation Policy

A word to the wise: To get the most out of your appointment we recommend that you arrive a few minutes before your scheduled time for in person appointments. This means you can MAX out on your treatment time rather than admin and formalities. Plus, who likes to rush anyway? Need to change your appointment? No problem! We understand that you may need to cancel or move your appointment from time to time, and that’s all good by us as we know hiccups occur and life can get in the way of the best laid plans. But we do kindly ask that you give us 48 hours notice so we’re not left twiddling our opposable thumbs, otherwise a 50% cancellation fee may apply. Please email hello@thesageapothecary.com to do so
